my space

Day 3
Day 1
Day 2

Day 4 - Finale Day
In this project, we had to make a space using the lamp that we created in our previous project. In Adobe Illustrator we were able to put 3D effects  to create the room that the lamp is in. For my project, I placed my lamp a private sitting room. In that room, I also created 2 chairs, a glass table, a shelving unit and a display wall unit. I used the elements of art by using lines to make having lines of my objects. I also used value and color by having a blue and brown theme and adding a slash of yellow and red.I used value  by having showing texture on the floor. I used the principles of design by including gradation to show where the light is coming from, as well as by having proportion. This accurately represents my sketch but, in my finale piece i added the chairs and the display wall unit.

still phot0

For this project I had to create a still life image of an object and place it in a real picture that we took . Using the tools Adobe Illustrator i had to create my keyboard. My final product shows a keyboard that I placed in a cafertiria setting that I photographed. I used the elements of art by using lines and color to create the outline of the keys and the entire  . I used the principles of design by adding a gradent to the back of the keyboard to make it look more realistic. I also created a back shadow of all the keys to make it look more realistic. My final design doesnt accuaretly represent  my sketch because i did not sketch out a plan for my project.

I used contrast and color when I chose my color scheme for the background and when I had to decide which color all the objects would be. I used balance when I had made all the  the edges of the tessilation line up. I used proportion by changing th sizes of each object.. My final projects resembled my sketch.

my logo

day 1
day 3
day 2

This project was really hard. I had to make a watermark for myself using Adobe Illustrator.  I had to create a picture that represents me. I to create this watermark using my pass project experience such as The Self Illustrator and the My Logo project from CG1. For my project i created an eye with "danielleart" going across and heart pupil. Also, I had art tools lining the outside of the eye. I used an eye because i believe art is beautiful and they always say " beauty is in the eye of the beholder"and i believe that. I used a heart pupil because i love art. I lined the eye with art tools because every artist has supplies they use when they create a masterpiece wether it is your imagination, paint brush, ruler, paint, etc..

Some Principles of Design and Elements of Art i used were contrast, value, and balance. I used Value when I made the shadows behind the "danielleart" and the heart pupil. I used contrast when i made certain things whit and others black and make sure certain things are not all one color. I use balance when i decided to line the top of my eye with tools of an artist, MY finale project somewhat resembles my sketch. The only difference from my sketch is the artist tools lining the top of the eye.

typoscene

day 2

day  3

day 4-Final day

This project was fairly easy if you paid attention to the typoobject project. I was expected to produce a typo scene adding things to me my typoobject. I created a couch, coffee table, and a lamp . I placed the remote on the table. Some Elements of Art and Principles of Design that i used were color, proportion, and line. I used proportion when i had make sure my section of my couch were the right size because if they weren't it would have not looked like a couch. I used line when I had to outline the different parts if the objects . I used color when i had to make the whole project color because it was an requirement to have color. My project accurately resembles my sketches.

art show possibilities

day 2
day 1
day 4
day 3
For this project i was expected to produce an original picture to enter in to an art show. My project consit of many elements that make up my life. I started off using PHotoshop but i came to relize that it was not the best program to use for this type of project. So, i switched over and begain to us Adobe Illustrator CS3. I use an 8.5 by 11 in document. Some elements of art and principles of design that i used were color, balance, and line . I used color when i chose different color to make the project brighter. I used balance when i had to make sure the project was not over crowded. i used line wen i created the out line of all the objects also when i overlapped objects to make make the viewer look in different direction. My project resembles my skech accurate.

Zombiefied

day 1
day 3
day 2

This project was fairly easy.  I was expected to zombiefy myself using Adobe Photoshop CS3 using tools  such as the burn tool and different pics of scares.  Some Elements of art And Principles of design i used were lines, value, and balance. I used value when i created different layers of my original pictures to make different layers darker and add different scares to different layers. I used lines wen i had to create the blood in the background. Also, when i created the cracks in my face. I used balance when i had to make sure i didn't over flow my project. Over flow as in not over doing the scars and the  effects applied to my photo. My project didn't not resemble my sketch at all because no sketch was produced for this project.

TypoObject

day 1
day 2
day 4
day 3

This project was fairly easy. I was expected to produce a Typoobject using the name of the parts to make up all the part . We had to work on an 8.5 by 11 inch document in Adobe Illustrator using the pen tool and and the new technique called envolope distort. This technique is used  to insert the name of the object inside the shape you create with the pen tool. So Principles of Design that I uesed were proportion. I used proportion when I had to create the  buttons on the remote to make sure they are the right size to fit the top panal. Some Elements of Art that I used were space, shape, and value. I used shape and value when i created the buttons. Also, when I had to distort the letter and put them in to the shapes . The overlapping letters allowed the value of the buttons to vary. Also the opacity level was changed on the background and some of the buttons so they can be visable. My final product resembled my sketch.

Typeface ART

Sketch
Day 3

Day 2

Day 4 & 5

This project was harder then I expected. I was  expected to produce an  animal or object consisting of only the letters of its name. I could not text worp or change the structure of the letter, you can only change  the size and direction of the letter. You can only work in Adobe Illustrator on an 8.5in by 11in document. My final project cons of E's ,G's, P's, and D's ad the out line of the BEAGLE PUPPY. I use P's for the eyes and Y's for the eyebrows. I used all the letters other the B and Y for the fur of the puppy. Some Elements of Art I used were shape, value, color, space, and texture. Some Principles of Design I used were balance, proportion, and repetitions. I used value, shape, color and texture when i choose where to to put the letter because a the letters over lap it makes contrast and make a texture. I used balance, proportion, and repetition when I used the letters over and over again . I used balance when i choose to put the B and the Y where  they are in the design. My final project somewhat matches my sketch because the out line of the puppy matches but the fill in does not.

Typeface

This was the type of project where you would be very lost and behind if you did not do your sketches. I was expected to produce 3 8.5in by 11in type face projects, monochromatic, free color, and cool or warm colors using Adobe Photoshop. My final projects contains my first name was in cool colors. My middle name was in free color. And last but not least my last name was in monochromatic.
Some Elements of Art and Principles of Design I used were contrast, color, balance, proportion, and line. I used contrast and color when I chose my color scheme for all three projects and when I had to decide which color would go where in each project. I used balance when I had to arrange the letter so that it wouldn’t just look like a bunch of letters but actually looked like a design. I used proportion by changing the sizes of my letters to fit the page without allowing one letter to be bigger than the other. I also used line when I overlapped my letters to produce a different direction for my viewers to look at
. My final projects somewhat resembled my sketch. For my last name resembles my sketch completely  but my first and middle name were free hand because I didn’t like my sketches and felt like I could have done better on them.

College and Career Center Banner

This project was fairly easy once you become committed to your work and pay attention to the small details you were  instructed to include. I was expected to produces a banner saying “Welcome to the  College and Career Center” using Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator. My final project contains college flags aligned at the top with a picture of a college right beside it. I also have photos of a career change ahead sign and a stack of books and an army helmet. The banner  also has the school colors black and gold as the background.
Some Elements of Art and Principles of Design I used were      repetition, contrast, color, and proportion. I used contrast and  color when I choose to use a black background with gold and white letters. I used repletion when I continuosly use the same flags at the too of the banner. I used proportion by not allowing my photos   to over power the banner. My final prokect somewhat resembled my sketch. Out of all 3 of my sketches, my finale projects contain elements of two off them allowing me to combine different elements to create one finale banner.
